Post-modernism is  a wide-ranging set of developments in critical theory, philosophy, architecture, art, literature, and culture which are emerging from and reacting to post modernism

While modernism was based on idealism and reason, postmodernism was born of scepticism and suspicion of reason. It challenged the notion that there are universal certainties or truths.

  1. Embrace of randomness. Reject idea of absolute meaning and instead embrace randomness and disorder

  4. Metafiction

Because it denies the existence of any ultimate principles, and it lacks the optimism of there being a scientific, philosophical, or religious truth which will explain everything for everybody-a characteristic of the so-called “modern” mind

Postmodernist believe that there are no universal truths or objective realities and all meaning is constructed by each individual
