1-Physical/Spiritual, 2-Earthly/Heavenly,3- Inward/Outward

Which language is Jesus speaking???

Part 1

1-“Give me a drink” John 4:7-10 

How is it that you a Jew ask me for a drink from me, a woman of Samaria?

(Here Jesus is speaking spiritual, but the woman is hearing physical)(Jesus is thinking heavenly and she is thinking earthly)

2-“Living water” John 4:10-12  

Sir, you have nothing to draw water with and the well is deep. Where do you get that living water?

(Again in this second part, Jesus is still talking spiritually and she is still hearing physically)

Jacob gave us this well are you greater than him?

3-“Thirsty Again” John 4:13-15 

“Sir, give me this water, so that I will not be thirsty or have to come here to draw water.” 

(A drink that truly satisfies our greatest thirst)

(Jesus again is still talking spiritually, but her ears are still hearing physically)

John 7:37-39, Rivers of Living Water

Clarifies here that when Jesus is talking spiritually about Living Water He is talking about the Holy Spirit that will be given to those who believe and quench a thirst that regular physical water can never quench.
